He also serves as the Health & Wellness Officer for Washington Township.Īssistant Chief Bailey is a State of Ohio FF/EMT, CE Instructor, CPR Instructor, Fire Officer I and graduate of the University of Toledo earning a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Arts & Letters with an Emphasis in the Biological Life Sciences. He is able to do so by serving as both the departments’ CE Instructor and CPR Instructor. As EMS Chief, he is responsible for overseeing the daily EMS Operations of the department including all training and continuing education. Assistant Chief Bailey brings with him the knowledge and experience amassed over a career in the medical field for over 21 years having worked for Promedica Health System, Pathology Laboratories and currently with Bon Secours Mercy Health System at Mercy St. He was promoted to Captain of EMS Operations on Januand to Assistant Chief on March 10, 2020. ![]() Assistant Chief Mike Bailey was appointed to the Washington Township Fire Department on May 6, 2009. ![]()
